Learners

Each year nearly 4000 learners come to learn with us at the Limerick City Adult Education Service (LCEAS) in our 3 city centre venues and over 70 community locations.

We want all LCAES learners to enjoy their learning and reach their full potential. To do this we provide you with high quality learning programmes and services which are designed to meet your needs.

If you want to return to learning at a time and pace suited to your needs our courses have been created with you in mind. We offer part-time and full-time courses, during day-times, evenings and weekends. Most of our courses lead to certification. Some are even available online.

As an LCAES learner we also offer you :
• An Adult Educational Information and Guidance Service
• Use of the Self Access Learning Centre
• Other supports like Childcare and Mentoring

Learners Case Studies: Hear what LCAES learners have to say about coming back to learning with us.

Moodle Online Learning: See an online version of your course with resources and latest news. You can join a learner forum here and share your experiences with other LCAES learners.

Self Managed Learning: Find out how you can take charge of and be more confident about your own learning.

Learning Blogs: Read the thoughts of other LCAES learners about the ups and downs of learning.

Rate Us: Help us to improve our services, let us know what you think about our courses or services or about this website

  1. Use of self access learning centre is jargony on its own...new learners won't know what it is.

  2. Agree with Maud - maybe put something like:

Use of a Learning Centre where you can use technology for learning outside class time??

  3. say "over" 4000 learners rather than "nearly"

Comma after which and before "are designed to ...."

Last sentence - Full stop after "services." and cap for "Let us ...."
